Colton's Classroom

This is my dream come true! I have homeschooled for 12 years now, and this past year was the first time to actually have a "room" specifically for school. This is also my place to do my scrapbooking. It has become my favorite room in my home!

I only have ONE BOY!!! LOL :)

Really, I am a neat-nick - I cannot stand clutter, it makes me nervous. My table usually has school books out on it during school time, but I put them away on the weekend. And you should see it when I scrapbook!! My whole room is a literal mess!! :)

I am so impressed with what you have done with your space it looks very organized, clean, loaded with lots of resources for teaching and learning. I get a really good feeling about this classroom and wish the very best for all those that occupy it.

Kim, your room is so cool! Even I am inspired to go out and get some new wall posters...the only thing on our wall (Except maps) are...well, actually maps ARE the only things on our wall! LOL!

Little Moe has outgrown most of the stuff I have but I saw a neat set of physics posters on E-bay that I think I might go buy....

How can you NOT learn in this room? It is so clean and organized! I love the table. The little one lucky enough to learn in this beautiful room has plenty of room to spread out projects and papers as he works. You can tell a lot of time and love went into creating this space.

I really enjoyed having the seperate room for the sake of the minimal distractions when we were schooling our four. The neatness and organization really help the atmosphere of learning. I have to say though that this is definately a relaxing scrapbooking room - although, I know this is about homeschooling not scrapbooking =o)
