A Solid Homeschool Writing Curriculum Will Enable Your Child To Communicate EffectivelyA homeschool writing curriculum that delivers the goods in way your child understands is not easy to find. Too bad all homeschool subjects aren't as fleshed out as the math department - it would certainly make life easier.Recently though, a new program has hit the market and that is my major push for this section. There are others though, so unfortunately this lady doesn't get the same high value plug as Spelling Power's author did in the last section. I like this program a lot and I would push it more, but it is only good for middle grades and up, and so won't cover the elementary years. The literature based method has an interesting philosophy about writing curriculums and it involves dictation and copy work in the early years. We did do a lot of copy work ourselves and I must say it never hurt him. There are other programs like Writing Strands that take your young writer from start to finish in a series of easy to use workbooks. And yet others can offer you a qualified online teacher who will assign and grade your students work for you. Most kids don't care for writing, my Little Moe certainly didn't until this year when I found Jump In Writing, but I want to make sure that you have all the options out there and so we will further discover the joys of writing curriculum together in the next few pages....so click on!
