After 5 years of homeschooling and tons of books and supplies I think I have come to a great system. We have 2 bookshelves for our books and an entertainment center for our supplies.

I have utilized mazagine boxes also on our bookshelfs. I have labeled them with different subjects (science ~Animals, science ~Solar System, Teacher guides, Poetry, Art/Music, etc). This way the kids (and I) can pull a box and then return the entire box to its right place. No more hunting for information needed. As for the entertainment center for our supplies I have put in plastic tubs crayons/markers, paper, coloring books and other artsy supplies.

I'm always hunting for stuff - I need to get organized! I'm embarassed to put my daughter's workspace up - it isn't even a dining room table. Just a desk in her room with the laptop!
