iTunes Has a lot to Offer Homeschool Families

Besides the audiobooks iTunes also offers iTunesU and FREE Podcasts.

I'm sure most of you are familiar with iTunes, but did you know you can get free lectures from some of the best universities in the country for free on iTunes U?

The college classes are not for the little ones, but for advanced high schoolers looking to prepare for college they can be a great resource.

How cool would it be to take biology from MIT or environmental science from Stanford?

They also have a K-12 area that highlights several public school districts.

In addition iTunes has this great Podcast area that has a TON of free stuff, so much stuff I can't even mention it all, but just a small example:

1. FREE public domain audiobooks
2. FREE Learn to Speak a Language Podcasts
3. FREE Vocabulary Podcasts

Now, you should keep in mind that all free stuff has a draw-back and that is - it takes time to find what you're looking for. Plus, some "Products" can be less than ideal.
