My Fathers World Is a Comprehensive Full Year Christian Based Learn To Read Program.

We used My Fathers World kindergarten for learn to read as well. I know what you are thinking, geesh - this lady used every reading curriculum out there...yes, I felt that way too.

But here's why I did that - he flew through every single method I used, I was forced to keep challenging him. I will talk more about how did our learn to read stint on the Hodgepodge page.

My Father's World is a lesson plan AND a work page based curriculum. So you can see why it worked for me - it had the pages and the lessons. If it only had lessons I would not even mention it here.

You do have to hunt down library books, and you do have to do a lot of preparation for the hands on stuff and I DID end up skipping a whole bunch, mainly Bible, but really it was not in any way horrible, plus it actually was fun.

Little Moe enjoyed the ant farm and the butterfly garden and the foam letter manipulatives a lot. It worked fine.

So I'm giving it a good plug, but even though it was fun, I only used it for Kindergarten, so this review applies to that level only.
