Schoolin' Al Fresco

by Cheryl Novak
(North Carolina)

We use out deck as our classroom when the weather is nice. We get to observe birds and bugs while we do our book work.

It's so good to teach children about the natural world that God has given us. Good for you for incorporating it into your lessons.

This just brings back great memories for me! We used to use our back desk as a schoolroom when the weather was nice too. I think all that fresh air really helps the kids learn better! ;)

Outdoor classes and lessons are always a treat for the kids. I loved having lessons outside when my children were young. There is nothing like teaching in God's beautiful classroom to get the creative thoughts flowing.
